Rolling down from Cameron Highlands to Ipoh, Teluk Intan & Sekinchan

After went down from Cameron Highlands, it was 3pm and we already late for lunch so we decided to go Ipoh for having lunch. Ipoh is well known as a food paradise! Lou Wong, very famous with steamed chicken, beansprout, pork balls and the Ipoh’s most famous Sar Hor Fun (flat rice noodles).

We ordered a plate of steamed chicken and bean sprouts, and also a bowl of pork balls and fish balls. The business here is pretty busy but we still able to receive our order in just less than 10 mins. The chicken was really smooth...yummy ! HmmMM... I'm not a lover of bean sprouts but Ipoh's bean sprouts is very special and it taste is different... shorter, fatter and more juicy. We cant get enough the delicious foods, then ordered another bowl of pork ball and fish ball, which its taste is springy, firm and flavorful. Slrrppp~~~ The total bill was RM70++

Location: No. 49 Jalan Yau Tat Shin . Open from late evening until around 2:00am.

The only attraction in Ipoh that i heard is limestone cave. There are so many caves here; Perak Tong, Sam Poh Tong, Nan Tian Tong, Kek Lok Tong, Guan Yin Tong etc and etc... with all the Tong Tong goin on. We stopped at Guan Yin Tong Temple. The moment we entered to the temple we saw a monkey stealing a peach on the altar. According to the lady who are working there, those monkeys always come to the temple to steal the fruits but they won't hurt people cause they just need a food. I walked around the temple and took some pictures while waiting for my bf and friends going up to the temple to pray.

After visit the temple, we decided to explore the places of interest in Perak so we took the old road instead of highway. Along the way, we passed by many Ladang Kelapa, Ladang Kelapa Sawit and Sawah Padi in Sabak Bernam Wow~~ what an awesome of kampung looked ! and finally took us about 2 hours to reach Teluk Intan. Teluk Intan is a small town located in Perak. Click here for more info ===> Menara Condong, Teluk Intan.

After had so so so much fun for the whole day and we were late for dinner. We stopped at Restaurant Long Cherng Jalan Ria,Sekinchan which is recommended by my colleague, Lay wan. Our dinner came for, Hot plate toufu RM12, Sweet and sour pork (Gu Loh York) RM15, Vegetable (Shi Da Tian Wang) RM12, Octopus RM15, Bitterground egg RM8 and seven plate of local rice which only cost 80 cents per plate. All the dishes serve for 4 pax portion and their portion of food was reasonably huge, more than enough for seven of us. Burrrp... The total bill was RM72.60

We reached home in the middle of the night, very tired but very happy because it was a truly amazing and memorable trip for all of us. Good Nitez
